Is it me or do you have to know a Minister in Kuwait to operate a business successfully. How do they expect us to work here if for every little thing, we need to have too go threw 40 pages of paperwork and then find out that the guy that gave us the papers to fill didn't even know what the hell he was talking about. In this fast growing global world, i really think twice of having to setup a company in Kuwait. I have met people, that have amazing ideas but don't want to go threw the hassle of the bureaucracy i.e (excessively complicated administrative procedure, seen as characteristic of such a system). Kuwait should be the leader in the Middle East, but in the 3 years i have lived in between Dubai and Kuwait, i fear that we will never regain that mantle. You see we need to stop thinking as a small fishing village and see whats going around us in the world. To our Leaders I say start firing the incompetent people.
Those that i mean by incompetent are either, on their desk because they have a cousin, brother, uncle, sister, neighbors dog that got them the job threw "Wasta" Its a disease that needs to be eradicated. NOW!!! Or the young Kuwait people will take there ideas, to other countries in the Gulf that appreciate hard work, and not family connections.
